Why you'd like to join our team
Out of all my strengths, I feel like my character, and maturity are among the top. I am a service oriented person, so I love to help out whenever, and wherever I can. I am able to handle stressful situations, and calm players down/ take authority when needed. However, I do feel like staff should connect to their players, and this is why. When I was 13, I joined a server much smaller than this, and I didn't know anyone. However, a moderator immediately welcomed me, and genuinely took interest in me being on the server. It made me feel amazing, and feel like I had a place among the other players, this is why, if I am to receive staff on your server, I would do the same. If anyone were to insult me, or try to make me react unprofessionally, I wouldn't, due to the fact that I am a more mature person for my age. This being, I feel very comfortable around other players, and work well with other staff members! Next, I think everyone has a fair shot at being accepted as staff, and some just have more of the right qualities of a good staff member than others. I am extreamly mature, as stated above, so I remain calm and collected through any situation, which I feel a staff member must be able to do. I set a great example for other players, and love bonding with them. This bond being another reason I would make a good staff member. I love to think of each server I moderate as my home, and I want to make sure each and every player feels welcome. Another reason being that while I can be fun, I can also be very serious, and know when to lay down the rules, whether the player I have to punish is my friend or not. I won't be bias due to bonds between myself and others, and will treat everyone on the server with the same rules.

I'm going to start off by telling you all a story, but first introducing myself. My name is Matthew or Kyphotic in-game. I was born on September 12, 2001, making me 15 years old in 3 days. I was born, and currently live in Florida, so I run on Eastern time. I currently play lacrosse for my school and the state team FCA. I have 1 brother who, all though annoys me sometimes, I usually get along with. My favorite subject(s) are Math, and History. Well, now that you've gotten to know me a bit better, let me go into the story then tell you why I want to be staff. When I was 12 years old, me and my mom were strolling through a park when we saw a homeless man sitting on a bench. My mom looked at me and said "Matthew what do you think we should do to help this man?" Or something along the lines of that. I told her we should give him some money so he can get food at the local pizza place. She said she though this was a great idea, so we gave him 20 dollars and were on our way. Turns out he did buy pizza with the money, and to our surprise was sharing it with another homeless man that also stayed in the park. This brought my mom and I to tears, as a 12 year old I was greatly inspired by this mans actions. It stunned me how someone like us, having money and a house to stay in are so selfish and ungrateful that we don't usually share our food to our friends at school. Yet this homeless man who has nothing but the cloths on his back shared what he had even though he could have kept it to himself. I know it sounds like I'm rambling on but here's my point. Ever since I had this experience, I have been moved to think "outward" as my dad says, and help others at the expense of my time and happiness. The thing is, serving brings me joy. This is why I want to become a Helper for VelocityMc, because I would be gifted with a surplus of opportunities to serve others. I know I won't be perfect, no one is, but I can assure you that I will give 100% all day, no matter what's going on in my life in or out of the game.

If I mess up I'll give 150% more to make sure I improve, and grow stronger from the experience. I would be honored to be able to hold this position, and serve as a Trainee on this server.
